Federal Rolls of Prisoners of War. Captured Murfreesboro, Tenn., Jan. 5, 1863. Recd. Camp Morton, Ind., April 1, 1863. Name appears as signature to an Oath of Allegiance to the U. S., subscribed and sworn to at Camp Morton, Ind., May 23, 1865. Res. New Orleans, La., complexion dark, hair black, eyes blue, height 5 ft. 5 3/4 in.
