On a vacation in Virgina for a few weeks, we visited with Presidents Monroe, Tyler, Madison, Jefferson and Woodrow Wilson. I hope to add pictures of these sites in August.
We also visited Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, VA and took pictures of La Confederate Soldier headstones, those that did not return home after battles of Gettysburg,
Manassas and others. About 22 that we found were on our list of 360 LA Soldiers that are buried in Hollywood Cemetery. Another 20 that we took pictures of were not on
our list. We covered only a tiny part of this enormous cemetery which has 30,000+ Confederate Soldiers burials. This cemetery dates from 1848 and is just beautiful and
wonderfully maintained. Those pictures are here Hollywood Cemetery.

Burris Cemetery was added to East Baton Rouge Parish. A family group is doing research on members that were buried in this cemetery,
according to death records at La. Archives. So too may be the individual that has a headstone near the old Sherwood Forest Golf course. His record
states that he was buried in Burris cemetery as well. This interested family is searching to determine that cemetery location.

Pam Rice added Alston Cemetery in Calcasieu Parish to Find A Grave with over 100 individuals. Its only a few miles from Dequincy.
Nice small cemetery that needs pictures to go with listing. Nice morning effort for someone. Let me know.
Doretha Dunn sent a few more pictures for Andalusia Cemetery in Caldwell Parish. It is an old large cemetery with not a lot of headstones left.

Three U. S. Military Notables web pages were updated.
The most interesting is William Wallace Bliss, a U. S. Colonel and son-in-law of U. S. President Zachary Taylor, brother-in-law of Richard Taylor
(Zachary Taylor's son and a Confederate General), and Jefferson Davis, President of the Confederacy.
Zachary Taylor and later Richard Taylor owned Fashion Plantation near present day Hahnville, La.
