Reference 35 at the bottom of this page is incorrect.  It is dated 1842, long before Henry Johnson's death.  The real event was reported in by the Times Picayune in September 13, 1915 and by the this article also in 1915.

Reference 36 incorrectly states "the Johnson's had no children".  A daughter is buried in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Thibodaux and the governor's will says "...and benefit of my second son called Henry Johnson..."

DDate of death is stated in the first paragraph as July 31, 1864.  Other publications state September 4, 1864.
