The tombstone of Gov. Joseph Walker was moved by a landowner who wanted the "stones" out of his field. (See Rapides Parish USGenWeb article entitled Gov. Joseph Walker Burial).

The stone to the left of Gov. Walker's is that of John Holt, Jr, an infant who died four days after birth. I am researching the Holt family, which is connected to the Walkers.
