Pierre Joseph De Favrot, a French Creole soldier 42 years in service of
France and Spain in Louisiana. 

He was on the Galvez expedition in 1779. 

De Favrot was commandant of the Spanish
fort at Baton Rouge in 1779 - 1781, later at
Mobile, Natchez, and Plaquemines. 

He was a member of an early Louisiana legislature in 1814 and a West Baton Rouge planter.
