This
cemetery is for a Mr. Johnson and 4 of his 6 wives, This Mr. Johnson lived
to be 113 years old. The owner of this property is over 70 years old, and she
said that they lived in a house there, in back of the house was their barn,
and directly in back of the barn was this little cemetery. In the fall when the crops are harvested and the grass
dies out you can see the cross and graves from the road. The owner of the property also told me that directly
across the road, in the overgrown woods and briars is another cemetery. It
was called Le Cimitiere des fievres, or in English, the Fever Cemetery. | ||
